I just wanted to ensure visitors to this blog that I am not deadΒ and the next installment of the Summer of NHibernate Screencast Series is still coming.Β Other conflicting committments have forced me to delay it one more week; its new ETA is now the end of next week rather than this week as previously planned.
Sorry to all for the slight delay, but since these are recordings of our own internal training efforts, if we don’t train internally for a week, we don’t getΒ a video for that week ~!
I’m glad to hear you survived your wedding anniversary π
Good to know when the next installment is coming. No need to keep refreshing the downloadpage then. And I can put the popcorn back. π

Be careful Steven don’t force to much, you don’t have 20 yearls old π
I’m getting worried. Have you been taken hostage by the Entity Framework team ? π

@One:
LOL; nothing so sinister. Actually, to prove that I haven’t been kidnapped by the Entity Framework Team, you can check out some of the videos from the inaugural meeting of the NYC ALT.NET user group where our topic was…O/RM! (big surprise there π )
The delay the next SoNH installment is a combination of helping to organize this user group meeting and some actual work-related obligations (yes, I *DO* work for a living rather than trying to live off the donations I have rec’d to fund my screencasting efforts).
Here’s a link to a blog post from Alex Hung (who gratiously volunteered to capture the meeting in stills and video) with the video embedded in it…

Thanks for the link !
Please don’t think that I’m ‘demanding’ a new session. I feel awkward enough for just being curious (and anticipating) :$

@One:
No issue (and you demands wouldn’t make a damn bit of difference to me even if that’s what they were π ).
All kidding aside, I have no trouble whatsoever with your asking for an ETA; up until now I think the regularity with which I released the prior videos would have made Mussolini proud and so unlike other community-contribution-based efforts that wax and wane greatly over their ‘life’, these releases were much more ‘regular’ (by conscious and significant focus on my part to make them so) and so their new irregularity is even more acutely noticed.
ETA is tomorrow evening or early sunday morning on the next installment and the last installment will follow almost perfectly the week after, so now that my other high-demand issues are temporarily alleviated, the regularity of the schedule will resume.
This is a promise I have made to myself and so I feel 100% comfortable making it to you as well π
