Just by way of an FYI to visitors to this blog who are here (primarily) to get the ‘Summer of NHibernate’ screencast series content, I wanted to take sec just to offer a nod to the NHibernate FAQ blog as being a great source of much more in-depth content than I could (probably) ever squeeze into a video format (unless it was 1000 hours long ).

 

I think that this just reinforces something that everyone is probably already aware of: some media formats (video v audio v the written word) are better for conveying different kinds of information than others.  To get a completely holistic view of any technology probably requires that you try to consume as many different types of information as you can from as many different sources as you can.
